"Very Popular at Parties"

In a WSJ article, Dana Perino, White House Spokesperson, is quoted as saying:

Perino played down the notion that McCain may want to distance himself from Bush, whose approval ratings remain near historic lows. “The president is very popular within the party,” she said.

This is the problem with this Whitehouse, it views itself as the President for the Republic Party, not the President of the United States.
